Teaching the Seasons
This section has been made to provide you with different lesson plans on how to teach students about the different seasons we see and experience.
The unit is broken up into 5 different lessons. The first lesson is an introduction to the unit and an explanation of why the seasons occur. The second lesson focuses on the season fall, the third focuses on the seasons winter, then lesson 4 focuses on spring and finally the last lesson focuses on summer.
Each lesson breaks down the different activities, weather and clothing that students will be experiencing and learning about throughout the unit. There are games included within the unit, along with science inquiries where students are creating snow, and learning about leaves changing colors. The lessons also include fun activities that help students work on other skills while learning the seasons.
